Clean public spaces are essential to healthier and more welcoming communities. One Bag Trash organizes community cleanup activities that bring people together to remove litter, encourage responsible waste practices and build shared responsibility for the environment.

About the Initiative

Community Cleanups is a practical environmental initiative focused on addressing existing litter in public and shared spaces. By mobilizing volunteers and engaging communities, we encourage people to take action and care for the places they use every day.

What We Do

• Organize cleanup drives in public and community spaces.
• Mobilize students, volunteers and local residents.
• Collect litter and handle collected waste responsibly.
• Encourage proper waste disposal and environmental responsibility.
• Promote community participation in keeping shared spaces clean.

Our Approach

Each cleanup activity is planned according to its location, objectives, available volunteers and waste-handling arrangements. Where possible, we document the activity, record the amount of waste collected and identify suitable ways to manage the collected materials.
